Liverpool Civil Law’s highly regarded costs team have significant experience of civil costs litigation with some members having previously been a director of a costs company or having been a practicing solicitor.
Members of Chambers regularly advise, undertake drafting work and represent clients on detailed assessments, oral review hearings, CCMCs and costs appeals nationwide including the SCCO.
Advice is also given in relation to non-contentious matters, such as drafting retainers following regulation changes or through a firm changing its legal status or having been taken over or as part of a merger.
Members of the costs team also have expertise and experience in dealing with costs arising from group litigation, civil and criminal receiverships, costs in planning inquiries and in the Lands Tribunal.
