Ethan read Law at the University of Chester before completing the Bar Professional Training Course at the University of Law Birmingham. Ethan was called to the Bar in 2021.
Ethan accepts instructions across all of Chambers’ core practice areas; he is regularly instructed to deal with matters relating to personal injury, credit hire and housing disrepair.
Ethan has a particular interest in cases involving complex/ serious injury, clinical negligence and costs related issues; he has experience in dealing with such matters and is keen to develop this area of his practice further.
Prior to joining Chambers, Ethan worked at a firm of Solicitors for over two years, managing his own caseload of both fast and multi-track cases, predominantly in the field of personal injury and credit hire. He also dealt with a number of appeals. Ethan is tactically astute; he is able to draw on previous experience of litigating matters within the Solicitors and provide practical, common-sense advice.
Ethan is approachable and has a client-focussed attitude to his practice. He understands the needs and demands of both professional and lay clients, and he aims to turn around his paperwork quicky.
Ethan accepts instructions on a CFA basis and is happy to provide informal advice where appropriate.
Ethan has a personal interest in issues relating to the Firearms Act 1968 and is happy to take instructions relating to regulatory matters concerning firearms licensing. Outside of work, Ethan enjoys clay pigeon shooting, walking and generally getting out to the countryside.
